Cambridge Display Technology has joined forces with OTB, a leading manufacturer of in-line production equipment based in The Netherlands, and Eastgate Technology, based in Singapore, to develop a complete production line based on ink jet printing for the production of polymer light emitting diode (PLED) displays.
The project will be centred at CDT’s Technology Centre in Godmanchester, Cambs., UK, and will result in the efficient integration of separate manufacturing processes - giving a strong boost to lower cost production.
