Cambridge Display Technology (CDT) (Nasdaq: OLED) has appointed Mr Joseph Carr to its Board of Directors with effect from 3rd March 2005.  Mr Carr brings with him enormous experience in the field of electronic display technologies, having been responsible for Dow Chemical's Electronic Materials business which included the organic light emitting diode (OLED) range.

James V Sandry has served as a member of CDT's Board of Directors since November 2004. He held the posts of Chief Financial Officer and then Executive Vice President of iXL Enterprises, an internet consulting company, and was Chief Financial Officer of software development companies Online Insight Inc., and VCG Inc.
