CDT licensee Osram Opto Semiconductors has extended the Pictiva range of P-OLED displays which it offers to the market with the introduction of 12 new displays.

The displays, which are expected to be available by the end of Q2, are aimed at the industrial, medical and white good industry markets.

Colours being manufactured include lime green, jungle green, tiger orange and scarlet red.

The new displays will be available in sizes of: 1.5" (96x64), 0.9" (80x48) and 1.6" (128x64).

Although all three sizes have different resolutions and brightness levels all  have a 10,000 hour lifetime and 8 year ambient shelf life.

These new displays complement the existing range of Pictiva displays. The lifetime of these existing products has been improved to 40,000 hours at 100 nits for yellow and 40,000 hours at 70 nits for green and orange.
