At a ceremony in Chicago last night, Small Times Magazine named its winners in the Small Tech Awards for 2005.  Dr David Fyfe, CEO of Cambridge Display Technology was a runner up in the category 'Business Leader of the Year'.

This award comes as CDT approaches the end of its first full year as a listed company, having floated on the Nasdaq National Market in December 2004. The year has seen a number of important breakthroughs in the technology, including the sale of several ink jet printers for PLED pilot production, and the fabrication of full colour display demonstrators in sizes of up to 14 inches.
