Dr Jeremy Burroughes, Professor Sir Richard Friend and Professor Donal Bradley have been nominated for the award of European Inventor of the Year, organised by the European Patent Office (EPO).

This year sees the first-ever European Inventor of the Year conference, which provides a unique forum for exploring the role of patents in promoting innovation in Europe. The awards will be made at a two-day conference in Brussels on 3rd and 4th May.
