On the BBC Radio Cambridge Breakfast Show today, Dr Jeremy Burroughes, CDT's CTO, was interviewed about the European Inventor of the Year nomination made recently by the European Patent Office (EPO). CDT was a runner-up in the awards, which recognised the importance of the original discovery of electroluminescence from organic polymers - the technology on which CDT is based.

Jeremy explained the importance of the technology in producing the products of tomorrow with superior performance and lower cost than those of today.
