Total Matrix AddressingTM  (TMATM)

Total matrix addressingTM (TMATM) is an exciting new technology approach which is being developed by CDT.

TMA Logo

TMATM is a new driving technology for electronic displays, which has the potential to reduce power consumption and to extend panel lifetime for a given pixel count. TMA thus extends passive matrix display resolution into the display space hitherto dominated by active matrix driving, whilst being competitive on power consumption.

TMATM should therefore significantly increase the range of panel sizes which can be addressed using passive driver schemes.

TMATM is applicable to polymer and small molecule OLED technologies, and both fluorescent and phosphorescent materials.
